Singapore Writers Festival 2015

The theme “Island of Dreams” was the focal point of the Singapore Writers Festival 2015, which aimed to celebrate the vast possibilities of language. The event took place at the Civic District (Empress Place) from 30th October to 8th November.

As the nation celebrated its Golden Jubilee, the festival offered an opportunity to reflect on the aspirations of our forefathers and to envision new possibilities for Singapore’s future. doob provided cozy bean bags to allow visitors to relax while participating in the wide range of activities. The festival featured over 300 programs across different genres, including sessions for children and events conducted in English, Chinese, Malay, and Tamil.
