Why Bean Bags Settle (and how to restore peak comfort)

Over time, the air trapped inside high-density filling micro-cells gradually vents under body weight. This is a natural physical settling process, not a product defect. As the filling settles, your bean bag moves from firm support to a softer, more relaxed contour. To restore your bean bag's original volume and Dynamic Contouring, a simple pellet top-up is all it takes.

Opening the inner bag

All doob designs utilise our dooble™-layer construction fitted with YKK™ child-proof zippers to keep filling securely contained away from curious hands. Because the zipper puller has been intentionally removed for child safety, simply slide a small paperclip into the hole in the zipper latch. The paperclip unlocks the zipper and acts as a tab for you to pull the zipper open.

REFILLING

1. Prep the Space

Choose a calm indoor spot with fans switched off and windows closed to keep the lightweight pellets completely still.

 

2. Access the Inner Bag

Unzip the outer cover, then use the paperclip method outlined above to unlock the YKK™ child-proof zipper on the inner bag.

 

3. The Two-Person Team-Up

Have a helper hold the inner bag open to form a steady receiving chute. Carefully pour your pellets directly from the refill sack into the opening.
